Amazing little place just around the corner from the hustle and bustle. Valentina was very warm and welcoming. The food is also delicious. Perfect first meal in Venice. The roasted chicken and potatoes, perfectly seasoned.

I love the location, and corner where it is, away from the main scene. Good memories of places, are usually because of good food. And this is one of them. But what makes it memorable is the service and staff. Valentina, Rona and Miah were excellent hosts, each with their own uniqueness. I thought I'd just have a couple glasses of wines and spaghetti vongole. But ... I ended up with more wines and with Valentina's suggestion of Tagliatelle Gamberi e Zucchini. Then , tiramisu and espresso. I ended the night being full and happy. Grazie!

We ate here twice during our stay in Venice. Great location for our hotel around the corner, cosy vibe, delicious food (had pasta one night, grilled branzino and chicken on another) and reasonably priced. Very well looked after by Valentina both times - would highly recommend this spot for casual meal.

Everything was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. The food was delicious — especially the seafood pasta, which was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The service was exceptional — very friendly, attentive, and truly the best we’ve encountered in Venice. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience!

A Hidden Gem in Venice That Delivers Big on Flavor and Heart Tucked away in a charming corner of the city, this cozy spot served up a flawless dinner from start to finish. We began with a fresh, vibrant caprese—simple ingredients elevated by perfect balance. The gnocchi was pillowy and rich, coated in a sauce that felt like a warm hug. The roasted chicken with potatoes was rustic and deeply satisfying, with crispy skin and tender meat that spoke of care and craft. The house red wine paired beautifully with everything—smooth, bold, and generous. And the tiramisu? A dream. Light, creamy, and just the right touch of espresso and cocoa to end the night on a high note. The staff were warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet full of character. Whether you're a foodie or just looking for a soulful meal in Venice, Spicy Puppa is a must.

We went to this restaurant because it’s famous for its food — and it truly lived up to its reputation! The fried squid was thin, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. It was fried so delicately that it didn’t hurt the roof of my mouth — a true work of art! I don’t usually enjoy seafood, but the risotto was so delicious I couldn’t stop eating it. The rich, creamy shrimp flavor was amazing When we ordered, Valentina recommended the dish, calling it “absolutely fantastic,” and it really matched my taste perfectly. We were so full that we couldn’t finish everything, and when she saw that, Valentina smiled warmly and asked, “Would you like me to pack it for you?” Her kindness was so touching. Thanks to Valentina, we ended the day with a wonderful meal and a happy heart. Thank you so much!

Great foods for a good price! We had squid ink octopus polenta, and Norway shrimp spaghetti. The shrimp shells and heads were too hard to eat, so you’d have to pick it apart. The flavor of both dishes were excellent. The Pana cotta was not so good, not so rich, not so fresh, tasted like a jello pudding, skip the deserts.

A really friendly atmosphere with some fantastic dishes. Standouts for me were the grilled sea bass, panacota and tiramasu desserts. Highly recommend.
